Spooky Empire’s annual horror conventions give horror movie fans the opportunity to meet their favorite TV and horror film celebrities as well as other fans of the genre.  Our celebrity lineup also includes rock stars and musicians, sports stars, film directors, producers, animators, horror novelists and graphic artists. 

 Both of Spooky Empire’s expos (May-Hem and the Ultimate Horror Weekend) are conveniently located in sunny Orlando.  Featured events at our shows include Tattoo Festivals led by the industry’s top tattoo artists, Zombie Walks, Costume Contests, Live Performances and Music Acts, Film Festivals, Celebrity Poker Tournaments

Latin Jazz & Art Festival

Celebrated jazz fusion guitarist Marc Antoine headlines Casselberry’s signature cultural event, the Latin Jazz & Art Festival on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park.

It’s going to be a great night, beginning at 4 p.m. with other musical acts, savory cuisine, visual art demonstrations, specialty vendors, Latin dance presentations, 2 Latin art exhibits and delightful children’s activities.

Everyone is invited to bring a blanket, chairs and all of their friends to the lakefront amphitheater to enjoy an exciting evening that kicks off with flamenco dancers, a Mariachi band, and a Latin art exhibit that will offer a visual explosion of brilliantly colored costumes and cultural expressions. Concert begins at 5 p.m

Pickin' Picnic at the Bradenton Riverwalk

(BRADENTON, FL) Realize Bradenton will rock Bradenton’s Riverwalk Memorial Day weekend with the third Pickin’ Picnic showcasing the region’s music scene. This year’s family friendly event also includes a “Battle of the Food Trucks,” an art auction, and demos and samples to educate the audience on craft beers by brew masters from Bradenton’s two new breweries, Motorworks Brewing and Darwin Brewing Co., as well as 3 Daughters Brewing of St. Petersburg, and Big Top Brewing Company of Sarasota. The festivities begin at 2 p.m., with live music starting at 3 p.m. The event is free and takes place at the Pavilion on Bradenton’s Riverwalk, 452 3rd Ave. W. in downtown Bradenton.

Fusing the visual energy of vintage hot rods presented by Cruisin Orlando with the sights and sounds of rock ‘n’ roll by one of the best All-Star rock bands touring these days: The Ghost Riders, Legends of Southern Rock., this is an unforgettable event the whole family will enjoy for the holiday weekend.

Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival: Visual Fringe

Visual Fringe is the portion of the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival that consists of visual art. Like the theater portion of the festival, Visual Fringe is uncensored and un-juried and 100% of the money made in art sales is given back to the artists. The main focus of the Visual Fringe is to allow an outlet for artists to push beyond their usual medium, subject matter and comfort zone to bring true uniqueness to this exhibition and foster the celebration of creativity.
